Culinary Arts is a TESDA registered short course/program, a combination of Cookery NC II and Bread & Pastry Production NC II. The trainees will acquire knowledge and skills in using kitchen tools, preparing and cooking hot and cold meals, etc. This program also includes preparing different international cuisine.  In addition to baking pastries, bread, and cakes, maintaining cleanliness and food safety according to the required standard set by the TESDA.  Our aim is to produce graduates who will be equipped to work in the hotel industry or any other food-related businesses. The program will teach them how to develop rapport with the guests and embody the right attitude of being a professional chef.

Schedule of Classes

WEEKDAY CLASSES – From Monday to Friday (8 A.M. to 12 NOON)

or

SATURDAY CLASSES (8 A.M. to 5 P.M)

 

Course Duration

WEEKDAY CLASSES –  3 months

SATURDAY CLASSES –  7 1/2 months

* OJT is optional and the duration depends on the OJT sites that students are required to finish.

 

Certification

Trainees are required to take the TESDA National Competency Assessment before the end of their training. Certification is provided to those who meet the competency standards for

Cookery NC II and Bread & Pastry Production NC II to be issued by TESDA and Culinary Arts Diploma Certificate from Five Star Standard College upon completion of the requirements.

  • Photocopy of NSO-issued Birth Certificate
  • Photocopy of Form 138 or Transcript of Records
  • 2 pcs. 2×2 picture (white background, shirt with collar)
  • Photocopy of NBI Clearance or Police Clearance
  • Medical Certificate (Referral slip shall be given at FSSC)
