Five Star Standard College

Cookery NC II is a TESDA registered short course/program that provides knowledge and skills in using kitchen tools, preparing and cooking hot and cold meals, etc. This program is also inclusive of classes in local and international cuisine, preparation of food and plating for guests in the hotel industry or any other food-related businesses. It will teach them to establish rapport to the guest and the right attitude of being a professional chef.

Schedule of Classes

WEEKDAY CLASS   -  Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (8 A.M. to 12 NOON)


SATURDAY CLASS  –  1 P.M. to 5 P.M.


Course Duration

WEEKDAY CLASS –  1 1/2 months

SATURDAY CLASS –  3 months

excluding On-the-Job Training (OJT) hours

* OJT is optional and the duration depends on the OJT sites that students are required to finish.



Trainees who have undergone training are required to take the TESDA National Competency Assessment.  Certification is provided to those who meet the competency standards. Trainees shall also obtain School Training Certificate to be issued by Five Star Standard College upon completion of the requirements.

Admission Requirements

  • Photocopy of NSO-issued Birth Certificate
  • Photocopy of Form 138 or Transcript of Records
  • 2 pcs. 2×2 picture (white background, shirt with collar)
  • Photocopy of NBI Clearance or Police Clearance
  • Medical Certificate (Referral slip shall be given at FSSC)
