Five Star Standard College

Bread and Pastry Production NC II is a TESDA registered short course/program that will provide knowledge and skills in baking. This program includes baking cakes, bread, and pastries according to the required and relevant standards in the industry, maintaining cleanliness and food safety. Our aim is to produce graduates who are equipped to work in the hotel industry or any other food-related businesses. The program will teach them how to develop rapport with the guests and embody the right attitude of being a professional chef.

Schedule of Classes

WEEKDAY CLASS   -  Tuesday and Thursday (8 A.M. to 12 NOON)


SATURDAY CLASS  –  (8 A.M. to 12 NOON)


Course Duration

WEEKDAY CLASS –  1 1/2 months

SATURDAY CLASS –  3 months

excluding On-the-Job Training (OJT) hours

* OJT is optional and the duration depends on the OJT sites that students are required to finish.



Trainees who have undergone training are required to take the TESDA National Competency Assessment.  Certification is provided to those who meet the competency standards. Trainees shall also obtain School Training Certificate to be issued by Five Star Standard College upon completion of the requirements.


Admission Requirements

  • Photocopy of NSO-issued Birth Certificate
  • Photocopy of Form 138 or Transcript of Records
  • 2 pcs. 2×2 picture (white background, shirt with collar)
  • Photocopy of NBI Clearance or Police Clearance
  • Medical Certificate (Referral slip shall be given at FSSC)
